In Motion Aerial Arts Classes Our Aerial Spring Session is BACK! This session will be a 6 week session and will start the week of April 25. This is for students ages 9+. Registration for our Aerial Session will begin Saturday, April 16th! After you register please send an email to the studio to specify if you would like your lessons to be PRIVATE (just you!) or if you would like to add 2 or 3 more students. Maximum 3 students per lesson. First come, first serve! No prior skill or fitness level is required! Just the willingness to learn and have fun. We have a wide range of students from all walks of life! From children, teens, and adults. Students will learn techniques to avoid injury and each participant will receive personalized instruction tailored to their body and abilities. Regardless of body type or experience level, students will be safely guided through this amazing and fun physical challenge! Beginners will focus on proper body position, muscle usage, basic positions, and basic balances. More advanced students will learn more difficult skills, choreography, and artistry. As your strength and confidence increase, you’ll be amazed at what you are capable of doing. We aim for every student to walk away from this experience with a sense of empowerment and inspiration for all the infinite ways we can use our body and mind together to express our best, most authentic selves. Awaken elegance in the air, amazing balance, and power and precision in performance. We’ll encourage you to express your very best – your strongest, most confident, creative self. What to Wear: It is important to wear clothing that covers the backs of your knees and under your arms. You will want a shirt that can be tucked in to give your back protection. Long leggings or footless tights and a tight-fitting top or leotard with half sleeves are suggested. Tighter fitting clothing that gives you full range of motion is best. Shorts are not recommended, and loose clothing may get in the way.

AUDITION INFORMATION Admission for both the IMDP Company Competition Team and the acceptance into the Company Class Program are required by in person audition. All program levels are subject to change. Current IMDP Company team and Company Class students are required to audition in person at In Motion Dance Project Choose the age group you will fall under on June 1, 2023 Ages 4-5 Ages 6-8 Ages 9-12 Ages 13-18 Fill out our Google Audition Form no later than Friday, June 16, 2023. Whether your favorite royalty travels by air on a magic carpet or swims under the seas with her mermaid tail…lives in an enchanted forest or dwells under a spell in a charmed castle, you don’t want to miss this magical dance experience filled with adventure! Together we will travel to meet 6 V.I.P.s (Very Important Princesses) in their magical castles as you fill your Passport to Royalty with dancing fun! You’ll go on a scavenger hunt for sparkly jewels, dance around underwater treasure chests, and create glittering crafts. This jazz and tap dance camp is the perfect passport of magical royal fun! Join In Motion Dance Projects' summer arco and tumbling workshop. This class will focus on floor skills like cartwheels, walkovers, aerials, and back handsprings. Our workshop is perfect for dancers, gymnasts, and cheerleaders who want to improve their strength, flexibility, acro technique, and tumbling skills. You can develop new skills, improve your current skills, and build strength and flexibility! Our workshop will teach each student proper technique so their tricks look great and are performed safely. We offer acro/tumbling workshops that run from June 26th-June 30th. Intermediate Acro Workshop 4:30-6:00 Week is $110.
